Projects

Here, we’ve merely shown you a few projects that demonstrate the type of work we do. As you can see, we do great work on both little and large projects, so whatever you need we can do. Make your appointment.

Featured Project

laundromat Renovation

We helped construct this laundromat from the ground up with Colvin Construction. It was lacking some essential elements, but thanks to the owner’s plan and their vision, we were able to make it happen. We installed all of the machines, handled the plumbing and electrical work, and did some carpentry work that was necessary to make the business look great inside. The only thing we left out was the floor, but everything else was done well with the highest quality work.

Commercial Laundromat

Plumbing and Electrical & Washer Installation for 18 Units

In this project, we upgraded the laundromat’s infrastructure with 18 new washers, replacing outdated equipment and improving overall functionality. We also enhanced hose bibs and sewer lines for optimal performance.

Recognizing the need for modernized drainage, we implemented a tailored solution, easing maintenance and improving operational efficiency. Additionally, we installed individual breakers for each machine, simplifying power management.

After meticulous labeling and testing, we ensured seamless operation.

commercial carpentry

Carpentry/Renovating

This client requested that we build nine bathrooms for them; however, there were too many to display all the pictures, but here are some samples of the different kinds of work that RSJ Contracting has completed.

Commercial Concrete work/Hardscaping

Concrete Work

Above, you will find a few of the kinds of concrete work we have completed. As you can see we can do anything from stamped concrete, concrete patios, concrete floors, stained concrete and concrete counters.

Commercial laundromat installations

Laundry Washer Installations

In this Concord location we removed old Speed Queen machines and left room to make tables and and also redid a concrete slab that was too thin for the type of machines we were going to install. The concrete was redone to be 6 inches in thickness to prevent the machines from shaking. We also included switches to make it easier for the owner to turn on and off each machine individually. Happy to say the owner was happy with the end results .

Location: Giant Wash Laundromat

Project in Concord

The pictures shown above includes 10 washer installations of 60 pounder machines as well as 6, 30 pound machines. The owner wanted to upgrade his old Speed queen machines to newer Dexter machines. The plumbing and sewer lines had to be redone on both sides due to leaks. We also added new valves and created a new small section for the bulkhead to complete everything.

Project in San Mateo

The owner of the laundromat requested more space behind his washers for this project, so he asked us to give him 20 more inches of space. This project required a lot of work, and it was completed in two days even though it would normally take three to four days at most. By doing it in two days, he could have the washers running by Monday morning but basically a lot of things had to be redone but the customer was very happy by the work performed.

Hotel Projects

in these two washers, specifically designed for hotel use, displayed in our images, we completed these installations in two separate hotels. While everything was pre-configured, we handled the electrical connections, plumbing setup, and programming to ensure seamless operation. If you require similar installations in the future, feel free to reach out or schedule an appointment with us.

Installation of Pre-Owned Commercial Washers

Here, we installed 4 Speed Queen washers and removed 4 Maytag washers. We also replaced the base so the machines fit perfectly. The plumbing had to be redone because the way it was originally set up, the machines wouldn’t be able to connect, or I would’ve needed to use a longer flex hose for the drain but the customer was happy with the end result.
